With a view to keeping up with the pace of the times and implementing the strategy of Dongchang Group's strategy for technological and digital transformation, Dongchang Group established a Technology Innovation Committee. Recently, the Inaugural Conference of Dongchang Group Technology Innovation Committee was successfully held in the Group Headquarters. Ding Jianzu, Chairman of Dongchang Group and President of Technology Innovation Committee asked the Group subsidiaries to dare to think and dare to do in actively seeking opportunities for innovation and second entrepreneurship. The Group Headquarters will offer substantial support to all of the Group’s divisions and subsidiaries for the implementation of technology innovation projects.

　　Gu Chunqi, Vice President of Dongchang Group and the Convener of the Technology Innovation Committee, chaired the meeting and introduced the committee's organizational structure and specific functions in detail. The newly established Technology Innovation Committee is a permanent special organization, under which a secretariat is set up to implement various daily tasks. In addition, an external advisory group is hired to provide consulting and guidance for the Group's Technological Innovation work.

　　It is learned that the Committee will hold regular meetings to study and find the direction of technological innovation, review the work reports and medium- and long-term plans for the technology development of its subsidiaries, promote Dongchang's upgrading of technological innovation capabilities and the digital intelligence; carry out the exchanges and cooperation in the technological innovation with foreign companies; introduce external technological talents and strengthen the Group’s technological strength. In addition to the Committee at the Group level, each subsidiary is also required to set up the Technology Innovation Leadership Group to implement various tasks of the technology innovation; the members of the Leadership Group are composed of key leaders of the subsidiaries involved and the technological innovation personnel.

　　Chairman Ding Jianzu pointed out at the meeting that the traditional industries can and must implement innovation and that only innovative and development can upgrade market competitiveness. He required that all of the companies under the umbrella of the Group should be aware of the current social situation, use the Committee as the platform to work together to drive the innovation in terms of the three aspects: technology innovation, management innovation and project innovation, and strive to make remarkable achievements within the limited time available.

　　He Xiaochu, an expert from Shanghai Academy of Environmental Sciences, was invited to the meeting to interpret relevant environmental protection policies and analyze the impact of policy changes on the Group’s development.
