Two Members of Dongchang Group Accredited SSDI and Hi-tech Enterprises!

Recently, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization (SMCEI) announced the 2024 list of Shanghai's Specialized, Sophisticated, Distinctive and Innovative (SSDI) SMEs (Second Batch), with Dongchang Group's Shanghai Zhongtong Automotive Parts Co., Ltd. successfully granted the title. Subsequently, the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission (SMSTC) released the second batch of the 2024 National High-Tech Enterprises certified in Shanghai, where Dongchang Group's Shanghai Kuntu Facilities Management Co., Ltd. obtained the title of a national high-tech enterprise.

In recent years, Dongchang Group has consistently increased its R&D investment, adhering to technological innovation as the driving force for corporate development. The titles obtained by its two subsidiaries demonstrate national recognition of Dongchang Group’s strengthened R&D commitment and achievements in commercialization.

Shanghai Zhongtong accredited as a “specialized, sophisticated, distinctive and innovative” enterprise 

The “SSDI” is a national initiative guiding SMEs toward “specialized, sophisticated, distinctive and innovative” development, so as to continuously enhance their growth quality and capabilities.

According to Shanghai Zhongtong, the accreditation by the SMCEI as an SSDI enterprise recognizes its years of commitment to R&D investment and technological innovation, and will be a key benchmark for its technical capabilities and product sophistication. 

As China's first automotive parts specialist adopting Expanded Polypropylene (EPP) for vehicle applications, Shanghai Zhongtong has been a pioneer and explorer in this field. Its accreditation requires simultaneous fulfillment of multiple criteria including independent intellectual property rights, proportion of technical personnel, and R&D investment. After rigorous evaluation, Dongchang Group’s Shanghai Kuntu Facilities Management Co., Ltd. has now obtained this national accreditation.
